Software Overview
Digia Qt SDK is a software development program kit (SDK). Authored by Haavard Nord and Eirik Chambe-Eng, Qt is a cross-platform SDK used to create applications that can run on various hardware and software platforms. Currently being developed by both The Qt Company and Qt Project, it formerly developed by Trolltech (1991 to 2008), Nokia (2008 to 2011), and Digia (2012 to 2014). The SDK was originally released by Nokia and then acquired by software developer Digia. Digia develops the SDK alongside the Qt Project. Qt SDK is commonly used for the development of mobile applications as well as desktop and embedded applications.
