Typical FWD Opening Challenges

Ipswitch IMail Server is Not Installed

You attempt to load your FWD file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The FWD File Extension". Generally, this is experienced in %%os%% because Ipswitch IMail Server isn't installed on your PC. You won't be able to double-click to open your FWD because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: When you have another program installed that you know will open your FWD, you can select it from the other programs listed (see "Show Apps").

Outdated Ipswitch IMail Server

Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Ipswitch IMail Server installed that's incompatible with your IMail Server Forwarded Mail Message type.
