Common Problems Opening PVZ Files

Creo View Lite (ProductView) Disappeared

When you double-click your PVZ file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". Usually, this is because you do not have Creo View Lite (ProductView) for %%os%% installed. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.

Tip: If you don't have Creo View Lite (ProductView) installed, and you know of another program to open your PVZ file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".

Obsolete Version of Creo View Lite (ProductView)

It is possible that your version of Creo View Lite (ProductView) isn't able to open your ProductView Packaged Structure And Drawing file due to incompatibility. Download the latest Creo View Lite (ProductView) version from the PTC website to ensure you have the correct one installed.
