Issues Opening A50 Files

Adobe Authorware is Not Installed

You attempt to load your A50 file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The A50 File Extension". If this is the case, it's usually due to the fact that you do not have Adobe Authorware for %%os%% installed on your computer. You won't be able to double-click to open your A50 because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: Another A50-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.

Obsolete Version of Adobe Authorware

Sometimes your installed version of Adobe Authorware won't support your Adobe Authorware Library File file. If you've got the wrong version of Adobe Authorware installed, you'll need to install the correct version. Most of the time your Adobe Authorware Library File file was created by a newer Adobe Authorware than what you have installed.
