Common A65 Opening Problems

Adobe Authorware Not Present

You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open A65 Files" when trying to open your A65. If this is the case, it's usually due to the fact that you do not have Adobe Authorware for %%os%% installed on your computer. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.

Tip: If you don't have Adobe Authorware installed, and you know of another program to open your A65 file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".

Obsolete Version of Adobe Authorware

In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a Authorware 6.5 File file that is unsupported by your installed application version. Download the latest Adobe Authorware version from the Adobe Systems Incorporated website to ensure you have the correct one installed.
