Tip: Another ANNOT-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.
Incorrect Adobe Digital Editions Version

Visit the Adobe Systems Incorporated website to download (or purchase) the latest version of Adobe Digital Editions. This problem is predominately due to having a Adobe Digital Editions Annotations File file version that was created by a newer version of Adobe Digital Editions than what you have installed on your PC.
Tip: You can sometimes get hints about the right program version by right-clicking on the ANNOT file, selecting "Properties", and looking at the version information.
