Adobe Dreamweaver Isn't There

When trying to open your CFC file, you get the error "Can't Open CFC File Type". When this happens, it is commonly due to Adobe Dreamweaver missing in %%os%%. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.

Tip: If you have another software that you know opens CFC files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.

Adobe Dreamweaver Requires Update

Sometimes your installed version of Adobe Dreamweaver won't support your ColdFusion Component File file. You will need to download a newer version of Adobe Dreamweaver if you don't have the right version. This problem is most common when you have an older version of the software application, and your file was created by a newer version that it cannot recognize.
