Issues Opening F4M Files

Adobe Media Server Not Present

You attempt to load your F4M file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The F4M File Extension". When this happens, it is commonly due to Adobe Media Server missing in %%os%%. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.

Tip: If you don't have Adobe Media Server installed, and you know of another program to open your F4M file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".

Wrong Version of Adobe Media Server is Installed

It is possible that your version of Adobe Media Server isn't able to open your Adobe Flash Media Manifest File file due to incompatibility. Installing the latest version of Adobe Media Server from Adobe Systems Incorporated is recommended.
