Common KFP Opening Problems

Adobe Acrobat DC Disappeared

You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open KFP Files" when trying to open your KFP. Usually, this is because you do not have Adobe Acrobat DC for %%os%% installed. You won't be able to double-click to open your KFP because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: If you know of another program that can open your KFP file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.

Obsolete Version of Adobe Acrobat DC

Sometimes your installed version of Adobe Acrobat DC won't support your Adobe Acrobat Preflight Profile File file. If you've got the wrong version of Adobe Acrobat DC installed, you'll need to install the correct version. Most of the time your Adobe Acrobat Preflight Profile File file was created by a newer Adobe Acrobat DC than what you have installed.
