Troubleshooting Problems Opening MD0 Files
Issues Opening MD0 Files
Alcohol 120% Not Present
You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open MD0 Files" when trying to open your MD0. If so, it typically means that you don't have Alcohol 120% installed for %%os%%. The OS won't know what to do with your MD0 file, so double-clicking to load the file doesn't work.
Tip: When another MD0 application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
Alcohol 120% Requires Update
In other instances, your Alcohol Disk Image Segment 1 file version may not be supported by your version of Alcohol 120%. Download the latest Alcohol 120% version from the Alcohol Soft website to ensure you have the correct one installed. This issue mainly occurs when your Alcohol Disk Image Segment 1 file was created by a newer version of Alcohol 120% than you have on your PC.
Tip: Sometimes you can get a clue about the version of MD0 file you have by right clicking on the file, then clicking on "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac OSX).
Ultimately, most of the difficulties opening MD0 files are due to having the wrong version of Alcohol 120% installed.
