PRPRESET Troubleshooting
Issues Opening PRPRESET Files
Adobe Premiere Pro CC Isn't There
When you double-click your PRPRESET file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". Usually, this is because you do not have Adobe Premiere Pro CC for %%os%% installed. Your operating system cannot associate your PRPRESET with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, so double-clicking the file won't work.
Tip: If you know of another program that can open your PRPRESET file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.
Incorrect Adobe Premiere Pro CC Version
In other instances, your Adobe Premiere Preset file version may not be supported by your version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC. If you've got the wrong version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC installed, you'll need to install the correct version. Your Adobe Premiere Preset file was probably created by a newer release of Adobe Premiere Pro CC than what's currently installed your computer.
Tip: Find clues on the correct software version by right-clicking your PRPRESET file and clicking "Properties".
Conclusion: The majority of PRPRESET file opening issues are due to not having the correct Adobe Premiere Pro CC version installed.

Assuming you have the right Adobe Premiere Pro CC version installed, other problems can prevent you from opening PRPRESET files.
