Frequent NAB Opening Issues

Netscape Navigator Isn't There

If you attempt to load your NAB file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open NAB Files". When this happens, it is commonly due to Netscape Navigator missing in %%os%%. You won't be able to double-click to open your NAB because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: Another NAB-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.

Netscape Navigator is Out-of-Date

Sometimes your installed version of Netscape Navigator won't support your Netscape Communicator Addressbook file. If you do not have the proper version Netscape Navigator (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. This issue mainly occurs when your Netscape Communicator Addressbook file was created by a newer version of Netscape Navigator than you have on your PC.

Tip: Investigate your NAB file by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" to find clues on what version you need.
