Microsoft Excel Isn't There

If you attempt to load your XLA file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open XLA Files". If so, it typically means that you don't have Microsoft Excel installed for %%os%%. The OS won't know what to do with your XLA file, so double-clicking to load the file doesn't work.

Microsoft Excel Requires Update

In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a Excel Add-In File file that is unsupported by your installed application version. If you've got the wrong version of Microsoft Excel installed, you'll need to install the correct version. The primary cause of this problem is that your Excel Add-In File file was created by a different (newer) version of Microsoft Excel than what's installed.
