BioWare Neverwinter Nights is Not Installed
You attempt to load your ITP file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The ITP File Extension". Generally, this is experienced in %%os%% because BioWare Neverwinter Nights isn't installed on your PC. You won't be able to double-click to open your ITP because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.
Tip: If you don't have BioWare Neverwinter Nights installed, and you know of another program to open your ITP file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".
Wrong Version of BioWare Neverwinter Nights is Installed
Your Bioware Palette Data file is incompatible with BioWare Neverwinter Nights because you might have the wrong version installed. You will need to download a newer version of BioWare Neverwinter Nights if you don't have the right version. Most of the time your Bioware Palette Data file was created by a newer BioWare Neverwinter Nights than what you have installed.
Tip: Sometimes you can get a clue about the version of ITP file you have by right clicking on the file, then clicking on "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac OSX).
Ultimately, most of the difficulties opening ITP files are due to having the wrong version of BioWare Neverwinter Nights installed.
