Common CRD Opening Problems

Missing Notepad++

You attempt to load your CRD file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The CRD File Extension". Customarily, this means that Notepad++ is not installed on %%os%%. The typical path of opening your CRD with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.

Tip: If you know of another program that can open your CRD file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.

Outdated Notepad++

Your Guitar Tabs file is incompatible with Notepad++ because you might have the wrong version installed. You will need to download a newer version of Notepad++ if you don't have the right version. Most of the time your Guitar Tabs file was created by a newer Notepad++ than what you have installed.
