Sources of SAV Problems
Frequent SAV Opening Issues
No Cash GBA (No$GBA) is Not Installed
If you attempt to load your SAV file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open SAV Files". Customarily, this means that No Cash GBA (No$GBA) is not installed on %%os%%. The OS won't know what to do with your SAV file, so double-clicking to load the file doesn't work.
Tip: When another SAV application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
Incorrect No Cash GBA (No$GBA) Version
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of No Cash GBA (No$GBA) installed that's incompatible with your Saved Game File type. You will need to download a newer version of No Cash GBA (No$GBA) if you don't have the right version. This problem is predominately due to having a Saved Game File file version that was created by a newer version of No Cash GBA (No$GBA) than what you have installed on your PC.
Tip: Investigate your SAV file by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" to find clues on what version you need.
Conclusion: The majority of SAV file opening issues are due to not having the correct No Cash GBA (No$GBA) version installed.
