Sources of WEBA Problems
Common Problems Opening WEBA Files
Zoom Player Isn't There
You attempt to load your WEBA file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The WEBA File Extension". Customarily, this means that Zoom Player is not installed on %%os%%. The OS won't know what to do with your WEBA file, so double-clicking to load the file doesn't work.
Tip: When you have another program installed that you know will open your WEBA, you can select it from the other programs listed (see "Show Apps").
Wrong Version of Zoom Player is Installed
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Zoom Player installed that's incompatible with your Zoom Player WebM Audio type. If you do not have the proper version Zoom Player (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. Your Zoom Player WebM Audio file was probably created by a newer release of Zoom Player than what's currently installed your computer.
Tip: Right-clicking on your WEBA, then clicking "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac), can provide clues about your file version.
Primarily, problems experienced when opening WEBA files are due to having the incorrect version of Zoom Player installed on your computer.
Other Causes of WEBA File Opening Problems
You can still experience errors opening WEBA files even with the latest version of Zoom Player installed on your PC. If you are still having problems opening WEBA files, there may be other issues that are preventing you from opening these files. These issues include:
- Windows Registry WEBA file paths that are incorrect
- Corruption of the WEBA file description inside the Registry
- Corrupt install of Zoom Player or other WEBA-related program
- File corruption affecting your WEBA file
- Malware-tainted WEBA file can't be opened
- WEBA-related hardware has device drivers that obsolete
- Insufficient system resources to successfully open Zoom Player WebM Audio files
