Common Problems Opening CXF Files

Google Picasa is Not Installed

When trying to open your CXF file, you get the error "Can't Open CXF File Type". If so, it typically means that you don't have Google Picasa installed for %%os%%. You won't be able to double-click to open your CXF because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: When you have another program installed that you know will open your CXF, you can select it from the other programs listed (see "Show Apps").

Obsolete Version of Google Picasa

It is possible that your version of Google Picasa isn't able to open your Google Picasa Collage File file due to incompatibility. Installing the latest version of Google Picasa from Google is recommended. This issue mainly occurs when your Google Picasa Collage File file was created by a newer version of Google Picasa than you have on your PC.
