Troubleshoot INP Files
Common INP Opening Problems
Urdu InPage Not Present
You attempt to load your INP file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The INP File Extension". Generally, this is experienced in %%os%% because Urdu InPage isn't installed on your PC. This will prevent you from double-clicking to open the INP file because the OS doesn’t know how to handle it.
Tip: If you have another software that you know opens INP files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.
Urdu InPage is Out-of-Date
Sometimes your installed version of Urdu InPage won't support your Urdu InPage Document file. You will need to download a newer version of Urdu InPage if you don't have the right version. This problem is most common when you have an older version of the software application, and your file was created by a newer version that it cannot recognize.
Tip: Find clues on the correct software version by right-clicking your INP file and clicking "Properties".
Ultimately, most of the difficulties opening INP files are due to having the wrong version of Urdu InPage installed.
Other INP File Issues
You can still experience errors opening INP files even with the latest version of Urdu InPage installed on your PC. There can be external issues inside of %%os%% that are causing these errors when opening INPs. Other contributing causes:
- Windows Registry INP file paths that are incorrect
- Deletion of the INP file description from the Registry by mistake
- Urdu InPage or another INP application experienced a flawed installation
- File corruption affecting your INP file
- Your INP has adversely impacted by malware
- INP-related hardware has device drivers that obsolete
- Your computer does not have the adequate system resources to open the Urdu InPage Document format
