Frequent SJPG Opening Issues
Oracle IRM Desktop is Not Installed
You attempt to load your SJPG file and get an error such as "- Can't Open The SJPG File Extension". Usually, this is because you do not have Oracle IRM Desktop for - installed. The OS won't know what to do with your SJPG file, so double-clicking to load the file doesn't work.
Tip: When another SJPG application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
Incorrect Oracle IRM Desktop Version
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Oracle IRM Desktop installed that's incompatible with your Sealed JPG File type. You will need to download a newer version of Oracle IRM Desktop if you don't have the right version. This problem is predominately due to having a Sealed JPG File file version that was created by a newer version of Oracle IRM Desktop than what you have installed on your PC.
Tip: You can sometimes get hints about the right program version by right-clicking on the SJPG file, selecting "Properties", and looking at the version information.
Primarily, problems experienced when opening SJPG files are due to having the incorrect version of Oracle IRM Desktop installed on your computer.
Additional SJPG Opening Issues
Errors opening Sealed JPG File files can still occur even with the latest Oracle IRM Desktop software installed on your computer. If you're still experiencing problems opening SJPG files, there could be other computer problems. These issues include:
- SJPG file references in the Windows Registry are broken
- Deletion of the SJPG file description from the Registry by mistake
- Invalid installation of a SJPG-associated program (eg. Oracle IRM Desktop)
- Your SJPG can't be loaded properly (file corruption)
- Your SJPG is infected with malware
- Hardware associated with SJPG has outdated drivers
- Too many applications are open on your PC to load your Sealed JPG File file successfully
