Parasolid is Not Installed
Double-clicking your X_B file prompts the message "- Can't Open X_B File". Customarily, this means that Parasolid is not installed on - . This will prevent you from double-clicking to open the X_B file because the OS doesn’t know how to handle it.
Tip: If you know of another program that can open your X_B file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.
Outdated Parasolid
It is possible that your version of Parasolid isn't able to open your Parasolid Model (binary) file due to incompatibility. You will need to download a newer version of Parasolid if you don't have the right version. Your Parasolid Model (binary) file was probably created by a newer release of Parasolid than what's currently installed your computer.
Tip: Sometimes you can get a clue about the version of X_B file you have by right clicking on the file, then clicking on "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac OSX).
Regardless, most of the X_B file opening problems relate to not having the right version of Parasolid installed.
