Frequent X09 Opening Issues

Corel WordPerfect X8 Disappeared

When you double-click your X09 file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". Customarily, this means that Corel WordPerfect X8 is not installed on %%os%%. The OS won't know what to do with your X09 file, so double-clicking to load the file doesn't work.

Tip: When another X09 application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.

Corel WordPerfect X8 is Out-of-Date

Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Corel WordPerfect X8 installed that's incompatible with your Corel Paradox Secondary Index type.
