Frequent CAM Opening Issues

CadSoft EAGLE Disappeared

You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open CAM Files" when trying to open your CAM. Customarily, this means that CadSoft EAGLE is not installed on %%os%%. You won't be able to double-click to open your CAM because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: If you know of another program that can open your CAM file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.

Incorrect CadSoft EAGLE Version

Sometimes your installed version of CadSoft EAGLE won't support your Gerber CAM Job File file. Installing the latest version of CadSoft EAGLE from Autodesk, Inc. is recommended. Most of the time your Gerber CAM Job File file was created by a newer CadSoft EAGLE than what you have installed.
