Software Overview

MS-DOS or (Microsoft Disk Operating System) is an operating system for (32-bit) x86-based personal computers developed by Microsoft. Rebranded as IBM PC DOS, and some operating systems attempting to be compatible with MS-DOS, are sometimes referred to as "DOS". MS-DOS was the main operating system for IBM PC during the 80s and the early 90s, when it was superseded by operating systems offering a graphical user interface such as the graphical Microsoft Windows operating system.
