Common CFK Opening Problems

Microsoft Visual Studio is Not Installed

When you double-click your CFK file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". Customarily, this means that Microsoft Visual Studio is not installed on %%os%%. The typical path of opening your CFK with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.

Tip: If you know of another program that can open your CFK file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.

Microsoft Visual Studio Requires Update

In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a Microsoft Developer Studio Diagram File file that is unsupported by your installed application version.
