Issues Opening CHT Files

ZSNES is Not Installed

When trying to open your CHT file, you get the error "Can't Open CHT File Type". If so, it typically means that you don't have ZSNES installed for %%os%%. The typical path of opening your CHT with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.

Tip: If you have another software that you know opens CHT files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.

Wrong Version of ZSNES is Installed

Sometimes your installed version of ZSNES won't support your SNES Cheat File file. Visit the Nintendo website to download (or purchase) the latest version of ZSNES. This issue mainly occurs when your SNES Cheat File file was created by a newer version of ZSNES than you have on your PC.
