Issues Opening CI Files

Microsoft Windows is Not Installed

If you attempt to load your CI file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open CI Files". Generally, this is experienced in %%os%% because Microsoft Windows isn't installed on your PC. Your operating system cannot associate your CI with Microsoft Windows, so double-clicking the file won't work.


Tip: Another CI-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.


Outdated Microsoft Windows

It is possible that your version of Microsoft Windows isn't able to open your Windows Content Indexer Catalog File file due to incompatibility. You will need to download a newer version of Microsoft Windows if you don't have the right version.
