Common Problems Opening DMB Files

BYOND Isn't There

If you attempt to load your DMB file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open DMB Files". Customarily, this means that BYOND is not installed on %%os%%. You won't be able to double-click to open your DMB because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: When another DMB application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.

Outdated BYOND

In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a BYOND Game Executable file that is unsupported by your installed application version. Visit the BYOND website to download (or purchase) the latest version of BYOND. Your BYOND Game Executable file was probably created by a newer release of BYOND than what's currently installed your computer.
