FDB File Complications

Issues Opening FDB Files

Portfolio Disappeared

You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open FDB Files" when trying to open your FDB. When this happens, it is commonly due to Portfolio missing in %%os%%. The OS won't know what to do with your FDB file, so double-clicking to load the file doesn't work.

Tip: Another FDB-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.

Wrong Version of Portfolio is Installed

In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a Portfolio Catalog file that is unsupported by your installed application version.
