Microsoft WinHelp Not Present
Double-clicking your HTI file prompts the message "%%os%% Can't Open HTI File". When this happens, it is commonly due to Microsoft WinHelp missing in %%os%%. Your operating system cannot associate your HTI with Microsoft WinHelp, so double-clicking the file won't work.
Tip: When another HTI application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
Wrong Version of Microsoft WinHelp is Installed
In other instances, your Microsoft Windows WinHelp Related Data file version may not be supported by your version of Microsoft WinHelp. Installing the latest version of Microsoft WinHelp from Microsoft Corporation is recommended. This problem is predominately due to having a Microsoft Windows WinHelp Related Data file version that was created by a newer version of Microsoft WinHelp than what you have installed on your PC.
Tip: You can sometimes get hints about the right program version by right-clicking on the HTI file, selecting "Properties", and looking at the version information.
