Troubles Opening MGL Files

Microsoft Age of Empires Isn't There

If you attempt to load your MGL file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open MGL Files". If so, it typically means that you don't have Microsoft Age of Empires installed for %%os%%. This will prevent you from double-clicking to open the MGL file because the OS doesn’t know how to handle it.

Tip: If you don't have Microsoft Age of Empires installed, and you know of another program to open your MGL file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".

Wrong Version of Microsoft Age of Empires is Installed

It is possible that your version of Microsoft Age of Empires isn't able to open your Age Of Empires 2 Replay File file due to incompatibility.
