Issues Opening PD5 Files

Windows Photo Gallery Removed

When trying to open your PD5 file, you get the error "Can't Open PD5 File Type". Usually, this is because you do not have Windows Photo Gallery for %%os%% installed. You won't be able to double-click to open your PD5 because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.


Tip: When another PD5 application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.


Windows Photo Gallery Requires Update

In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a Windows Live Photo Gallery Information File file that is unsupported by your installed application version.
