Issues Opening PERFMONCFG Files
Windows Performance Monitor Removed
Double-clicking your PERFMONCFG file prompts the message "%%os%% Can't Open PERFMONCFG File". Customarily, this means that Windows Performance Monitor is not installed on %%os%%. Your operating system cannot associate your PERFMONCFG with Windows Performance Monitor, so double-clicking the file won't work.
Tip: If you have another software that you know opens PERFMONCFG files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.
Windows Performance Monitor Requires Update
It is possible that your version of Windows Performance Monitor isn't able to open your Performance Monitor Configuration File file due to incompatibility. If you do not have the proper version Windows Performance Monitor (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. This problem is most common when you have an older version of the software application, and your file was created by a newer version that it cannot recognize.
