Understanding PNO Issues
Common PNO Opening Problems
Microsoft Windows 8 Isn't There
If you attempt to load your PNO file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open PNO Files". Usually, this is because you do not have Microsoft Windows 8 for %%os%% installed. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.
Tip: When another PNO application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
Microsoft Windows 8 Requires Update
Your Windows 8 Piano Song file is incompatible with Microsoft Windows 8 because you might have the wrong version installed. You will need to download a newer version of Microsoft Windows 8 if you don't have the right version. Most of the time your Windows 8 Piano Song file was created by a newer Microsoft Windows 8 than what you have installed.
Tip: You can sometimes get hints about the right program version by right-clicking on the PNO file, selecting "Properties", and looking at the version information.
Summary: In either case, the majority of problems opening PNO files are related to not having the correct software application installed on your computer.
Associated Difficulties Loading PNO Files
Even with the correct version of Microsoft Windows 8 installed, you can still experience difficulties opening PNOs. If you're still experiencing problems opening PNO files, there could be other computer problems. Other contributing causes:
- Windows Registry PNO file paths that are incorrect
- Accidental deletion of the description of the PNO file in the Windows registry
- Partial installation of Microsoft Windows 8 that did not fully complete
- The PNO itself is corrupted
- The PNO is infected with a virus
- PNO-related hardware has device drivers that obsolete
- Too many applications are open on your PC to load your Windows 8 Piano Song file successfully
