PRI Troubleshooting
Frequent PRI Opening Issues
Qt SDK Disappeared
When you double-click your PRI file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". If so, it typically means that you don't have Qt SDK installed for %%os%%. The typical path of opening your PRI with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.
Tip: When another PRI application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
Wrong Version of Qt SDK is Installed
In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a Qt Project Include File file that is unsupported by your installed application version. Installing the latest version of Qt SDK from The Qt Company is recommended. This issue mainly occurs when your Qt Project Include File file was created by a newer version of Qt SDK than you have on your PC.
Tip: If you right-click on your PRI file, then select "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac), you can obtain hints about what version you need.
Ultimately, most of the difficulties opening PRI files are due to having the wrong version of Qt SDK installed.
Other PRI File Opening Causes
Errors opening Qt Project Include File files can still occur even with the latest Qt SDK software installed on your computer. If you're still experiencing problems opening PRI files, there could be other computer problems. These other problems include (listed in order from most to least common):
- Invalid PRI file references in the Windows Registry (the "phonebook" of the Windows Operating System)
- Accidental deletion of the description of the PRI file in the Windows registry
- Partial installation of Qt SDK that did not fully complete
- File corruption affecting your PRI file
- PRI file integrity has been compromised by malware
- Device drivers for PRI-related hardware are out-of-date
- Your PC doesn’t have enough available resources to open the Qt Project Include File file

That's Correct!
ODS files are an OpenDocument Spreadsheet based on XML formatting. Although they are related to productivity, these are spreadsheets, not documents. :)
