PSO File Complications
Common PSO Opening Problems
Missing DreamPlan Home Design Software
You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open PSO Files" when trying to open your PSO. If this is the case, it's usually due to the fact that you do not have DreamPlan Home Design Software for %%os%% installed on your computer. You won't be able to double-click to open your PSO because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.
Tip: When you have another program installed that you know will open your PSO, you can select it from the other programs listed (see "Show Apps").
Outdated DreamPlan Home Design Software
In other instances, your DreamPlan Home Design Software Data file version may not be supported by your version of DreamPlan Home Design Software. You will need to download a newer version of DreamPlan Home Design Software if you don't have the right version. The primary cause of this problem is that your DreamPlan Home Design Software Data file was created by a different (newer) version of DreamPlan Home Design Software than what's installed.
Tip: Find clues on the correct software version by right-clicking your PSO file and clicking "Properties".
Regardless, most of the PSO file opening problems relate to not having the right version of DreamPlan Home Design Software installed.
Additional PSO Opening Issues
Assuming you have the right DreamPlan Home Design Software version installed, other problems can prevent you from opening PSO files. There can be other issues - unrelated to software - preventing you from opening PSO files. Issues that aren't software-related:
- PSO file type Registry entries are wrong
- Unintentional removal of the description of the PSO file inside the Windows Registry
- Corrupt install of DreamPlan Home Design Software or other PSO-related program
- Your PSO can't be loaded properly (file corruption)
- PSO file integrity has been compromised by malware
- PSO-related hardware has device drivers that obsolete
- Your PC doesn’t have enough available resources to open the DreamPlan Home Design Software Data file
