Common R82 Opening Problems
Microsoft Flight Simulator Isn't There
When trying to open your R82 file, you get the error "Can't Open R82 File Type". If so, it typically means that you don't have Microsoft Flight Simulator installed for %%os%%. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.
Tip: If you have another software that you know opens R82 files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.
Microsoft Flight Simulator Requires Update
It is possible that your version of Microsoft Flight Simulator isn't able to open your Flight Simulator Texture File file due to incompatibility. If you do not have the proper version Microsoft Flight Simulator (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. This problem is most common when you have an older version of the software application, and your file was created by a newer version that it cannot recognize.
