TLH File Complications
Common TLH Opening Problems
Microsoft Visual Studio is Not Installed
When trying to open your TLH file, you get the error "Can't Open TLH File Type". Customarily, this means that Microsoft Visual Studio is not installed on %%os%%. You won't be able to double-click to open your TLH because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.
Tip: If you don't have Microsoft Visual Studio installed, and you know of another program to open your TLH file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".
Microsoft Visual Studio is Out-of-Date
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Microsoft Visual Studio installed that's incompatible with your Typelib Generated C/C++ Header File type. If you do not have the proper version Microsoft Visual Studio (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. The primary cause of this problem is that your Typelib Generated C/C++ Header File file was created by a different (newer) version of Microsoft Visual Studio than what's installed.
Tip: You can sometimes get hints about the right program version by right-clicking on the TLH file, selecting "Properties", and looking at the version information.
Summary: Not having the right Microsoft Visual Studio version on your computer can cause problems opening TLH files.
