Microsoft Windows Media Player Not Present
Double-clicking your V file prompts the message "%%os%% Can't Open V File". Usually, this is because you do not have Microsoft Windows Media Player for %%os%% installed. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.
Tip: When another V application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
Microsoft Windows Media Player Requires Update
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Microsoft Windows Media Player installed that's incompatible with your Subsampled Raw YUV Image type. Visit the Microsoft Corporation website to download (or purchase) the latest version of Microsoft Windows Media Player. Tip: You can sometimes get hints about the right program version by right-clicking on the V file, selecting "Properties", and looking at the version information.
Summary: In either case, the majority of problems opening V files are related to not having the correct software application installed on your computer.
