Microsoft Visio Isn't There

When you double-click your VSTX file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". If so, it typically means that you don't have Microsoft Visio installed for %%os%%. The OS won't know what to do with your VSTX file, so double-clicking to load the file doesn't work.

Tip: If you don't have Microsoft Visio installed, and you know of another program to open your VSTX file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".

Wrong Version of Microsoft Visio is Installed

Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Microsoft Visio installed that's incompatible with your Visio Drawing Template type. Installing the latest version of Microsoft Visio from Microsoft Corporation is recommended.
