Frequent WLL Opening Issues
The Sims Removed
When you double-click your WLL file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". Generally, this is experienced in %%os%% because The Sims isn't installed on your PC. The typical path of opening your WLL with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.
Tip: When you have another program installed that you know will open your WLL, you can select it from the other programs listed (see "Show Apps").
Outdated The Sims
It is possible that your version of The Sims isn't able to open your The Sims Wall Texture File Format file due to incompatibility. Installing the latest version of The Sims from Electronic Arts is recommended. Most of the time your The Sims Wall Texture File Format file was created by a newer The Sims than what you have installed.
Tip: Find clues on the correct software version by right-clicking your WLL file and clicking "Properties".
