Software Overview
Project64 is an open source Nintendo 64 emulator that is available for the Microsoft Windows platform. It has a plugin system that makes it possible for third-party developers to implement their own parts of software as plugins such as Rice Video. It allows the user to play classic Nintendo 64 games on PC through ROM images reading. These ROM images may be directly created as homebrew on the computer or dumped from the Nintendo 64 cartridge Read-only memory.
