Software Overview
UltraHLE is an open source Nintendo 64 emulator for the Microsoft Windows operating system. It was released in 1999 and it was the first successful Nintendo 64 emulation software. It provided the ability to play many popular games such as Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64. Unlike other emulators that try to emulate all components of the game console like CPU, UltraHLE works on recognizing what the game is trying to achieve such as playing a sound and try to emulate this function.
