Frequent AGX Opening Issues

AGiliTy Removed

If you attempt to load your AGX file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open AGX Files". If so, it typically means that you don't have AGiliTy installed for %%os%%. Your operating system cannot associate your AGX with AGiliTy, so double-clicking the file won't work.

Tip: If you have another software that you know opens AGX files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.

Outdated AGiliTy

Sometimes your installed version of AGiliTy won't support your AGT Game File file. Download the latest AGiliTy version from the Open Source website to ensure you have the correct one installed. This problem is predominately due to having a AGT Game File file version that was created by a newer version of AGiliTy than what you have installed on your PC.

Tip: Investigate your AGX file by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" to find clues on what version you need.
