CDG Troubleshooting

Common Problems Opening CDG Files

Nullsoft Winamp Removed

You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open CDG Files" when trying to open your CDG. When this happens, it is commonly due to Nullsoft Winamp missing in %%os%%. You won't be able to double-click to open your CDG because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: Another CDG-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.

Nullsoft Winamp is Out-of-Date

Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Nullsoft Winamp installed that's incompatible with your Compact Disc Plus Graphics Image type. You will need to download a newer version of Nullsoft Winamp if you don't have the right version. This issue mainly occurs when your Compact Disc Plus Graphics Image file was created by a newer version of Nullsoft Winamp than you have on your PC.
