Troubleshooting Problems Opening KSG Files
Troubles Opening KSG Files
Kwalitan Not Present
You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open KSG Files" when trying to open your KSG. Usually, this is because you do not have Kwalitan for %%os%% installed. You won't be able to double-click to open your KSG because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.
Tip: When another KSG application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
Kwalitan is Out-of-Date
Your Kwalitan Segment File file is incompatible with Kwalitan because you might have the wrong version installed. If you do not have the proper version Kwalitan (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. This issue mainly occurs when your Kwalitan Segment File file was created by a newer version of Kwalitan than you have on your PC.
Tip: Find clues on the correct software version by right-clicking your KSG file and clicking "Properties".
Summary: In either case, the majority of problems opening KSG files are related to not having the correct software application installed on your computer.
