ODR File Complications

Troubles Opening ODR Files

OpenIV Isn't There

When you double-click your ODR file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". If this is the case, it's usually due to the fact that you do not have OpenIV for %%os%% installed on your computer. You won't be able to double-click to open your ODR because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.

Tip: If you know of another program that can open your ODR file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.

OpenIV Requires Update

Sometimes your installed version of OpenIV won't support your OpenIV Model Data file. Visit the Open Source website to download (or purchase) the latest version of OpenIV. This issue mainly occurs when your OpenIV Model Data file was created by a newer version of OpenIV than you have on your PC.
