Sources of PART1 Problems
Frequent PART1 Opening Issues
Missing NetObjects Fusion
You attempt to load your PART1 file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The PART1 File Extension". When this happens, it is commonly due to NetObjects Fusion missing in %%os%%. The typical path of opening your PART1 with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.
Tip: If you don't have NetObjects Fusion installed, and you know of another program to open your PART1 file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".
Outdated NetObjects Fusion
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of NetObjects Fusion installed that's incompatible with your NetObjects Fusion System Data type. If you've got the wrong version of NetObjects Fusion installed, you'll need to install the correct version. Your NetObjects Fusion System Data file was probably created by a newer release of NetObjects Fusion than what's currently installed your computer.
Tip: Investigate your PART1 file by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" to find clues on what version you need.
Regardless, most of the PART1 file opening problems relate to not having the right version of NetObjects Fusion installed.
Additional PART1 Opening Issues
Assuming you have the right NetObjects Fusion version installed, other problems can prevent you from opening PART1 files. If you are continuing to have errors with loading PART1 files, other external issues might be to blame. Other contributing causes:
- Windows Registry PART1 file paths that are incorrect
- Deletion of the PART1 file description from the Registry by mistake
- Corrupt install of NetObjects Fusion or other PART1-related program
- PART1 file corruption
- PART1 file integrity has been compromised by malware
- Device drivers for PART1-related hardware are out-of-date
- Your PC doesn’t have enough available resources to open the NetObjects Fusion System Data file
