PIX File Summary
The PIX File Extension has two different file types (mostly seen as the PCI Geomatics Database File format) and can be opened with four distinctive software programs, with the dominant related application developed by ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) (ESRI ArcGIS for Desktop software). Although PIX files are traditionally categorized as GIS Files, they can also be Raster Image Files.
File Extension PIX files have been identified on both desktop and mobile devices. They are fully or partially supported by Windows, Mac, and Linux. The main PIX file type has a Popularity Rating of "Low", meaning these files are not frequently present on your typical desktop or mobile device.
