Troubleshooting Problems Opening SBG Files
Typical SBG Opening Challenges
SBaGen Not Present
You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open SBG Files" when trying to open your SBG. Usually, this is because you do not have SBaGen for %%os%% installed. The typical path of opening your SBG with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.
Tip: If you have another software that you know opens SBG files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.
SBaGen Requires Update
Your SBaGen Binaural Beat File file is incompatible with SBaGen because you might have the wrong version installed. Installing the latest version of SBaGen from Open Source is recommended. This problem is predominately due to having a SBaGen Binaural Beat File file version that was created by a newer version of SBaGen than what you have installed on your PC.
Tip: Find clues on the correct software version by right-clicking your SBG file and clicking "Properties".
Regardless, most of the SBG file opening problems relate to not having the right version of SBaGen installed.
Other SBG File Opening Causes
Assuming you have the right SBaGen version installed, other problems can prevent you from opening SBG files. There can be other issues - unrelated to software - preventing you from opening SBG files. These other problems include (listed in order from most to least common):
